Longest Week of My Life

I have a feeling that this week may be the longest week of my life. I have come to this conclusion as the last 3 hours of work have felt like the equivalent of a full work week. It is really hard to stay focused on work when (a) Christmas is around the corner, (b) Sarah got into town yesterday, (c) there was fresh powder all weekend, (d) it is a Monday, and (e) your name is Mike Flick. So this week will drag on and on and on and on and on and on. . .

Some good news though. The weekend was grand. On Saturday, I spent the entire day in Fort Collins going to graduations (Dettorre's, Gutschick's, Michelle's, etc) and hanging out with the ex-roomies and their families. It was a good day and I'm glad I made it up for the day. After the second boring ass graduation ceremony of the day (thankfully the people I knew decided to graduate together!), I headed back down to Denver. Saturday night, I went up to downtown to celebrate Clayton and Keith's birthdays. We had dinner at Buca di Beppo (sp?) and then hit up a few bars before heading home. I got home at 1:00. I slept through my alarm, but managed to make it to DIA by 9:45 to pick up Sarah. The rest of the day, we visited with a bunch of Sarah's family, had dinner with Robert and Natalie, and then went shopping for a few last Christmas presents. I'm still not done, but that is typical procrastination on my part.

Now we have reached Monday. And the week shall go on. Slowly. When and if any of you are coming back to Colorado for Christmas break or whatever, give me a call. Come see the house. Go skiing with me. You know I'm always down for just about anything.
